How to quit the yo-yo workout pattern for good

You started a new workout program! It’s great and exciting! You lost 3lbs in 1 week!

But…

3 weeks in, those targets you set initially, seem unattainable. So, you let them go, and soon, you’re back to where you started.

We’ve all been there before. Whether with fitness, nutrition, hobbies, relationships…coming too hot out of the gate.

As Ontario begins to reopen, we’re all rushing to do all the things we’ve been missing out on. The energy is high after being stuck inside all winter long!

So while the initial excitement is high, how is this going to pan out for you long term? Will you:

  1. Bite off more than you can chew, and up back where you started.
  1. Pace yourself, slowly add in healthy habits, and make this the year you finally create a lifestyle you can stick to.

The answer depends on your approach. A gradual build up isn’t as sexy as a quick fix, 30 day all-out grind. Yet, society mostly markets the latter…

  • “One month shred!”
  • “Six pack in six weeks!”
  • “8 week diet plan!”

It’s out there, everywhere, calling for you. But ask yourself this: do they have your best intentions in mind? Or are they trying to mass-sell their product?

This time around, resist the urge to use an approach that promises quick results. Put yourself first, and make the decision to take it slow. The best version of yourself, will thank you 6 months from now.

We make sure to help you maximize the 23 hours of your day that others neglect.

Our coaches hold you accountable to small changes in the following areas:

  1. Sleep
  2. Stress
  3. Nutrition
  4. Hydration
  5. Daily movement
